About HPMD
Each winter, Care For the Homeless and Urban Pathways host a Homeless Personsโ Memorial Day observance. The memorial commemorates those who passed away that year without stable housing.
This year, the virtual observance will include reflections, music, eulogies, and a reading of the names of the people we have lost.
We hope you can join us to honor the lives of our neighbors and recommit to the fight to end homelessness. You can register here.
If you would like to submit any names to the Memorial, please email them to policy@cfhnyc.org.
Get Involved
We also invite individuals with the lived experience of homelessness to submit a poem or short story honoring the lives of those that we have lost. We will be choosing one submission to read at the memorial. You can find more information here.
