FOR THE HOMELESS, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
organization, improves the health and well-being of homeless
men, women and children by promoting healthful behaviors
and providing medical, behavioral, social and shelter services.
We advocate for the rights of homeless people and for public
policies which support stable individuals, families and
communities, and aim to end homelessness.

participate in strong collaborations to provide homeless people
with a real voice, helping to provide policy research and advocacy

"Facing Homelessness," an eight-minute video
presentation, premiered at our Inaugural 20th Anniversary Gala on
Sept. 13th, 2005. It received a Telly at the 26th Annual Telly Awards.
The Telly Awards honors outstanding local, regional and cable television
commercials and programs, and the finest video and film productions.
