BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Care for the Homeless is dedicated to service and values the contributions of our volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are available at Susan’s Place, our transitional residence in the Bronx serving medically and mentally frail homeless women. We offer an array of service learning experiences from serving food to our residence to running job readiness workshops, leading health education activities, collecting and working with our clothing donations, advocacy, community outreach and more. Volunteers may be able to even create their own volunteer experience based on their talents.
Group Volunteer Projects:
We invite corporate, community, educational and nonprofit groups to come join us on volunteer projects we will be having throughout the year.
Individual Volunteers:
If you have a special skill or talent that you believe can help Care for the Homeless in our mission, you are welcome to become a regular volunteer. Your talent may be needed in one of our volunteer assignments or may lead to creating a new volunteer experience at Care for the Homeless.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
